The existing heritage Ritz Flats building in Geelong has been redeveloped into an eleven-storey building now known as the R Hotel Geelong. Situated on Bellerine Street, the apartment complex is conveniently located within walking distance of cafes, shops and Eastern Beach, with a stunning view over Corio Bay from the upper levels.
The revitalized building spans over 15,000m² and includes a restaurant and bar, a total of 128 apartments with spacious balconies that are a mix of 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom dwellings, and secured basement with parking for 110 vehicles and bike parking. Two lifts and two internal fire stairs service all apartments and car parking levels.
The works included an integrated fit-out and furniture package and each of the apartments feature European kitchen appliances, custom light fittings, locally sourced joinery and loose furniture, Daikin split system air conditioning, engineered timber flooring, feature external screens, perforated aluminium screens, balcony soffit cladding and are connected to NBN network. The entire building has a 29.9kw solar panel system and two 25,000 litre fire tanks and pump system, as well as a carpark exhaust system.
We are pleased to have worked with Geelong architect, Mark Gratwick, to deliver this exciting project and are proud to have completed the works three months ahead of schedule.
