Ireland Brown Constructions were engaged to complete a fast-track tenancy fit out of approximately 1500m2 for the Tertiary Education Quality & Standards Agency (TEQSA) at Level 14, 530 Collins Street, Melbourne.
The design of the tenancy was based on a mixture of office and open plan principles and features private offices, workstation areas, conference rooms, a library, breakout and kitchen, and utility areas, providing TEQSA with a modern, functional and efficient workplace in a high-quality environment that supports staff productivity and interaction.
The finishes included feature Atkar panelling, ecoresin panelling, timber flooring, custom joinery, feature light fittings with Dali dimming system and sophisticated AV equipment controlled via a BMS.
The fit out complied with strict protocol and procedures required by 530 Collins Building Management (Jones Lang LaSalle), as well as Federal Government accommodation guidelines.
Despite a delayed start date, the project was successfully completed on-time in 37 days on a 6-day program.
