The new Community Care Unit at the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital was developed as a free-standing, purpose-built facility for Austin Health to administer mental health rehabilitation services to patients and foster their reintegration back into society.
The facility includes accommodation units for up to 22 patients and a centralised administration building for Austin Health staff across its two levels.
