Westbourne Grammar School has been educating young women and young men since 1867. The School operates two campuses – a smaller campus in Williamstown for Prep to Year 3 students, and a larger campus in Truganina for Early Learning to Year 12 students.

Being in one of the fastest growing areas in Australia, Westbourne Grammar School has developed a 15-year masterplan to reimagine the Truganina Campus, creating high class facilities and learning environments that enhance wellbeing for students and staff and will support a gradual increase in its student population over the coming decade. The masterplan is the most significant development in the School’s history and will be carried out in six stages, the first being the development of a new three-level Middle Years Learning Centre for students in years 5 to 8.

The building has been purposefully designed with soft, natural material, light, fresh air, and acoustics, to achieve high performing educational outcomes and maximise health of the students and staff, with immersive spaces and facilities including:

  • Ground Level
    • Health Centre
    • Student Café
    • Reception, staff offices and meeting room
    • 12 general learning classrooms
  • Level 1
    • Wellbeing Centre
    • 10 general learning classrooms
    • Multipurpose space
    • Project space
    • Staff work areas
  • Level 2

The Middle Years Learning Centre will be surrounded by a precinct with seating and spaces for students to gather outdoors and supported by bicycle storage and upgraded vehicle access to the facility.
