Crown West End Redevelopment Stage 1 & 2 (Jan 2011 – July 2011)
Ireland Brown Constructions were contracted to substantially increase the capacity of the vertical transport infrastructure to Crown’s West End Precinct. In addition to the relocation of an existing escalator and the insertion of a new lift shaft and escalator, IBC also demolished and re-modeled existing office and public amenities areas.
Crown Casino Pit 12 Expansion Stage 1 & 2 (Nov 2010 – May 2011)
Ireland Brown Constructions were engaged to demolish the rear of house kitchen facilities and cash cage area and convert the area into an architecturally designed rest room featuring quality fixtures and finishes.
Crown West End Redevelopment (July 2008 – April 2009)
The project was structured around a series of stages. Each stage was segregated from the operational Crown Casino in the form floor to ceiling hoarding panels in accordance with Crown requirements. Each Stage generally commenced with substantial demolition in preparation for the fit-out works.
The fit-out component of this project for the Food and Beverage area, External Terrace and new Entry Link involved the following:
Structural steel and various support elements, Concrete slab in-fills,Floor finishes including stone and marble, Plasterboard partitions with high end finish wall panelling including timber veneers and upholstered elements, Substantial joinery elements, High end feature ceilings and typical suspended ceilings, Suspended feature light fittings, Feature screens, Fixed furniture, New fire escape stairs, Feature pivoting doors / screens, Timber / steel subfloors, Substantial glazing, Secure coin booth enclosures with steel lined walls, all associated services including electrical, mechanical, fire and security
Crown Casino Foodmarket (November 2007 – November 2008)
IBC undertook the redevelopment of the Margo’s Bistro, Mings Restaurant and Kitchen at the Crown Casino Complex to create a refurbished Margo’s Bistro and Food Market.
The works were completed in two stages. The first stage was the internal renovation of Margo’s Restaurant. The works included demolishing internal finishes, modifying the floor plan, installing new lighting, building services, new floor coverings, stonework, glazing, tiling, banquette seating, furniture and equipment. The second stage included the demolition of the Mings Restaurant and Kitchen then a major redevelopment component to create the new Food Market and associated Kitchen. The works included demolishing the existing finishes, modifying services, installing substantial new steel structure within the ceiling, partition walls and ceilings, installing new kitchen and refrigeration equipment, joinery, timber, stone and glass cladding, metal trims, stainless steel cladding, painting, floor finishes and fixed furniture.
