This exciting project consisted of three main buildings/work areas as designated below to be performed at the existing school site at 35 Thomas Carr Drive, Tarneit.
Performing Arts Centre – Construction of a new state of the art Performing Arts Centre connected to the existing Gymnasium which includes:
- Auditorium to seat 500 people including all of the latest technical production equipment for sound and lighting
- Additional performance/practice spaces for both drama and music
- Drama rooms and backstage facilities
- Soundproofed music rooms and recording studio
- Staff office spaces and amenities
- Extensive architectural finishes feature throughout the building including acoustic wall paneling, timber look wall paper, and laminated wall and ceiling panels.
Gymnasium – Extension of the current Gymnasium to double the size of the existing building to include:
- 2 full size basketball courts
- Retractable spectator seating
- New weights room
- New physical education classroom
- Updated sound and lighting including new motorised scoreboards
- Update of existing amenities
Administration Building – Full strip out, refurbishment and extension to the current Administration block over two levels including:
- New Reception, waiting area and interview rooms
- Board room and meeting rooms
- A mixture of enclosed and open plan office spaces
- Updated staff amenities, lounge area and kitchen facilities
