This exciting development at Thomas Carr College in Tarneit involved works to three main buildings.

Performing Arts Centre

Construction of a new state-of-the-art PAC connected to the existing Gymnasium including a 500-seat Auditorium; including the latest technical production equipment for sound and lighting; additional performance/practice spaces for both drama and music; drama rooms and backstage facilities; soundproofed music and band rooms and recording studio; staff office spaces and amenities.  Architectural finishes throughout the building include acoustic wall panelling, timber-look wall paper, and laminated wall and ceiling panels.

Gymnasium

Extension of the existing Gymnasium which doubled the size of the current building including 2 full-size basketball courts; upgraded sound and lighting including new motorised scoreboards; retractable spectator seating; new weights room; new physical education classroom; and upgrade of existing amenities.

Administration Building

Full strip out, refurbishment, and extension to the current Administration block over two levels including new Reception, Waiting Area, Interview Rooms, Board Room and Meeting Rooms; a mixture of enclosed and open plan office spaces; and upgraded staff amenities, lounge area and kitchen facilities.
