Ireland Brown was engaged to construct 32 lifestyle apartments that is an integral part of Our Lady of Good Counsel. The apartments are a mix of two bedrooms or two bedrooms with a study. The interior of each apartment is finished in herringbone parquetry, wool carpets, stone bench tops, gas fire places and European appliances.
Works involved in the construction included substantial in-ground works of bored piers and screw piles, underground rainwater and detention tanks, precast concrete, suspended concrete slabs; post tensioning, structural steel, carpentry, masonry and stonework. The basement car-park is constructed to service all 32 apartments and has provisions for bicycle parking and storage.
Extensive service works completed included a complex installation of electrical and mechanical services, communications and data and hydronic heating as well as four lifts servicing each of the apartment buildings.
