BER Package 30 comprises of a range of educational buildings and facilities in order to provide both new and renovated facilities for seven schools within the Barwon South Western Region.
Five of the buildings have been specifically designed based on a Template A building arrangement to include a library and learning resource and creative and collaborative areas. The buildings also include classrooms, seminar and “quiet” areas, staff amenities, storage and general amenities.
Leopold Primary School building was based on a Template K design, that provides double the classrooms and amenities areas offered part of template A.
The construction works generally comprised ground slabs, part suspended slabs, structural steel, timber infill frames, energy efficient windows, metal and CFC cladding, new building services, energy monitoring systems and an architectural fitout.
All of the sites include new pathways, ramps, walkways, infrastructure works and implementation of new site services as well as landscaping.
