Ireland Brown Constructions was appointed the successful contractor for the Craigieburn Bowling Club. Located 26km north of Melbourne, the newly single storey facility consists of a new Members Bar, Function Room, Commercial Kitchen, Office facilities and Amenities
The building itself is located on the existing clubroom site, however was extend further west so it is located more centrally to both of the existing greens.
The primary consideration for the new building was the relationship of the function space (kitchen and bar) to the new greens i.e. modern bowl clubs maximise the visual impact and access to the greens from the function space.
External facilities included two large timber decking with viewing areas to the north and south of the building, shaded by timber pergolas.
Temporary accommodation facilities was maintained throughout the construction process, to minimise disruption to the club itself.
