The Broadmeadows Children’s Court project involved the construction of a new courthouse, approximately 1400m2 across two levels, complete with two court rooms and associated amenities including meeting rooms, office space, chambers, and a new combined entry foyer for the existing Magistrates’ and Children’s Court.

The building was designed to incorporate many finishes that included glazed brickwork, bluestone paving and cladding, polished precast panels, glazing and timber paneling.

During construction the adjoining Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court remained fully operational, with safe access for custodial movements provided through IBC’s site.
