Ireland Brown Constructions were engaged as the head contractor of the extension to the Boroondara Sports Complex in Balwyn North, Melbourne.
The works was initiated by early enabling works to facilitate the project, along with demolition of an existing car park and Administration Building.
The main building work involved a three level extension to the existing sports complex, incorporating a new group fitness room & health club, a new crèche, and various program rooms. A new multi-purpose indoor basketball/netball court and foyer will present a new public entrance to the complex, with new amenities and change rooms servicing the extension. Finally, modifications to the car park and landscaped grounds completed the project.
