BRIEF PROJECT SUMMARY:

IBC were engaged to undertake a substantial refurbishment and fit out to the West End Gaming floor within Crown Casino and construct and fit out a new External Smoker’s Terrace.  Works were required to be undertaken in several stages to ensure that the casino could continue operating during the works.

Works to the West End Gaming Floor and External Terrace included high-end architectural features including imported stone and various joinery and feature lighting elements, the installation of extensive structural components including installing steel members within tight ceiling spaces to support feature ceilings and lighting elements, demolishing and removing an escalator over an existing escalator, reconfiguring and fitting out a high security coin booth located on the gaming floor, new floor finishes, electrical / mechanical / fire / hydraulics service reconfiguring and interfacing into the existing system and pivoting large scale timber feature screens.

Works during this project needed to be closely managed to ensure that Crown Operations were not affected and constant liaising with the Crown Departments including security, projects, food & beverage and gaming was necessary to ensure a successful delivery.
