BRIEF PROJECT SUMMARY:
Ireland Brown Constructions were contracted to refurbish the lecture theatre and classrooms of Level One Building F at Deakin University’s Warrnambool Campus. The refurbishment included the installation of new floor coverings, plaster linings, suspended ceilings and bulkheads. The current classroom entries were widened for the installation of automatic doors and to allow for better disability access; this involved the demolition of existing masonry. The current lecture theatre entry ramp was realigned to meet appropriate standards and enable improved access disability access. New seating and furniture was provided for all rooms including specialised lecture seating and tablets.
