AWARD WINNING BUILDERS
Our most recent achievement was being named the Winner of the 2009 Master Builders Association of Victoria Award for “Excellence in Construction” for commercial buildings in the $5-10million category.
The achievement was particularly rewarding, as the Department of Transport project, was one of the larger and more challenging projects we had undertaken requiring the use of over 800 staff during the 17-week period with nearly 120 site personnel at the peak of the project.
The project involved refurbishing over 13 floors and overseeing new construction works including an internal fit-out and large joinery package. In line with our mission to ensure projects are environmentally sustainable; the team worked to incorporate and re-use many of the existing items (particularly joinery) into the end result.
