BRIEF PROJECT SUMMARY:
As part of the Federal Governments Building Education Revolution initiative IBC was engaged in the construction of a new single multi-purpose building including a new carpark and sports oval for Grassmere Primary School .
The building comprises of structural steel portal frames with infill timber framing. The claddings are a mix of corrugated iron, brick and shiplap timber cladding requiring high attention to detail and high levels of quality control.
All works were undertaken adjacent to a fully operational school environment. The delivery of the building required careful planning to ensure the safety of staff, pupils and visitors to the school at all times.
